Advocate For Seniors
Served as health advocates for seniors, by assisting in applying for government benefits, such as Medicaid and Social Security disability, contacted specialist physicians for appointments; aided in applying for other community programs; and reviewing medical bills.
Seminar and Workshops
Collaborated with several community partners to conduct seminars and workshops tailored to seniors and women. On issues such as health, aging, diabetes, self-esteem, living healthy and more.
Imagination Libaray
Teamed up with the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to provide books to children from birth to age five.
